VentusTree O.E.
Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data VentusTree collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
The data controller is VentusTree O.E. (general partnership), based in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. VAT No. 803397830, G.E.MI. No. 196078427000.
For anything about your data, email info@ventustree.com.
What we collect
Only what you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, email address, company name (optional), the topic you choose and your message.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or any tracking. Fonts and images are served from our own site, not from third parties.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal or start working together. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering messages we receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell or share them with anyone for their own purposes.
Who processes it for us
Formspree, Inc. (USA) receives contact form submissions and forwards them to our mailbox. GitLab, Inc. hosts this website and may keep technical server logs, such as IP addresses, for security. Our email provider stores the messages we exchange.
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, this happens with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted within 2 years. If we work together, we keep correspondence for as long as the contract runs and for the period Greek tax and commercial law requires afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. Email info@ventustree.com and we will reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
